Our Coaches Auction on Sunday Night was extremely successful from both a social and a fund raising perspective. I want to thank Darren Jacobson for arranging this event; all coaches for their contributions; the sponsors for their donations to the club; and to the members for their attendance. It was an excellent evening and one that was enjoyed by all.

With the Coaches Auction completed, our attention now turns to our Dinner Dance which is fast approaching. Don’t forget to see your Team Manager for tickets as payment needs to be submitted to the venue. Please mark this event in your diaries.

This weekend (7 June 2009) is the Queens Birthday Long Weekend and I wish to remind everyone that there are no games  scheduled. Therefore, there will be no Sunday Night Player’s Awards Night this weekend either. Please enjoy the long weekend without football commitments.

The Interleague Carnival takes place this weekend (7 June 2009) and I want to wish our players (Michael - representing EFL Under 15’s; Sam and Ben - both representing EFL Under 14’s) all the very best for these games and trust that they will enjoy the experience. An invitation is extended to club members and families in attending these games to support our players.

Our next Sunday Night Player Awards Night on the 14 June will be at the Senior Club Rooms at Ferntree Gully Reserve from 5:30 p.m. Please mark this in your diaries and we look forward to a strong attendance.
