This week’s focus is the Club Dinner Dance. This event is fast approaching and we ask that you confirm your attendance with your Team Manager as soon as possible. We will need to close off the list very soon. The night promises to be memorable with a special guest confirmed attending.

Recently, our Club received formal advice that we have achieved Silver Level of the AFL Victoria Quality Club Program. Congratulations to all involved, the Executive, General Committee and members - this is truly a wonderful achievement.

I wish to again thank our sponsors who provide so much to our Club. We have listed on the website how we have allocated sponsor’s contributions to the many projects we have undertaken.

Thanks to Bruce Brunton and the boys from the Under 18’s who helped out with training of the Juniors over the last week. A big effort on some very cold evenings and the 18’s not once complained. The Juniors enjoyed having their older role models at training with them.

Congratulations to our Interleague representatives - Michael Wheeler, Sam Goldsack and Ben Cavarra - all of whom played games over the Queens Birthday weekend followed by another game under lights on Wednesday night. A great experience for these boys and we congratulate them for being such good ambassadors and representatives of the Ferntree Gully Eagles Junior Football Club. We wish them well for all of the remaining games.

I wish to remind all players, family members and spectators of the Clubs ‘Code Of Conduct ’ - it is important that we all adhere to the requirements. I cannot emphasise this more strongly.

Finally, our next General Committee Meeting has been changed from Monday 6 July to Monday 13th July.
