As the Home-And-Away season draws to a close (one more week left), our attention turns to the finals series. At this stage, it appears that the Ferntree Gully Eagles Junior Football Club will have two teams contesting finals - the Under 13’s and the Under 15’s. We wish both of these teams well as they prepare for the last game and their finals campaign.

 

Round #14 will also be the final game that our Under 16’s play at Junior Level - we wish them well for the week and into the future. The Club will also host a farewell to this group of boys and their families at the conclusion of the finals series.

 

HOSTING OF JUNIOR FINALS: As reported last week, the Ferntree Gully Eagles Junior Football Club will host three (3) weeks of Junior Finals this year. These will be weeks 2, 3 and 4 of Finals – which means that we will be hosting a Grand Final in week # 4. We will need as much assistance as possible – more details to follow

On behalf of the Executive, I would like to thank Lisa Mack for arranging Team Photos this season - it was logistically difficult but a task made to look easy by Lisa - THANK YOU!

 

The date for Presentation Day has also been set so please place the date in your diaries – Saturday 29 August 2009. This is shaping up to be another day not to be missed…

 

Our final Sunday Night Player Awards Night 19 July will be held at Pickett Reserve from 5:30 p.m.
